Mario Kart, Mario Party, Super Smash, Golden Eye and Wcw vs. Nwo Revenge are the games I would go after..I can't really remember anything else, other than sports games, but those games were legendary..4 player Golden Eye and Mario Kart can't be beaten..

True, but it was the first one, bound to have some kinks. Just proves Nintendo is an innovator (first to introduce rumble, first to have cartridge save, first to have shoulder buttons, etc etc)

My work has been thoroughly done in this thread by others. The only game I haven't seen mentioned that's seriously worth playing is Resident Evil 2.

Smash Bros. is probably the pinnacle of the N64. Ocarina of Time for single player.
