I think Quinn will suprise you. Although not near the player Hill is, Quinn is smart, and will not try to do more than hes capable of.
I hope so, I didnt know he was only 27. I assumed he was washed up by now, he did a good job in Miami few years ago, hopefully he fills the gap while Hill gets healthy.

Quinn's a pretty solid backup pg IMO. Can hit the jumper and run the offense. Nothing flashy, just a solid player.

Damn. Shouldn't have chosen phx as the spurs game to go to. No hill and a short handed phx team. Hope it's still exciting.

Quin is solid, doesn't turn it over, plays adequate d, and shoots career 40% from three. Considering we'll be facing a suns team without their new players, and soon we'll be playing magic, and washington, that just added theirs. We might get lucky during this stretch without hill.

Whats up with our D-League we don't have anyone at all to bring in for Hill or Udoka?

I'd check with ChumpDumper, but I don't think any Toro, right now, is worthy of a call up.

@ calling the phoenix game tough. They were a sub-.500 team before the trade this season, and now they're a sub-.500 team with no chemistry.
At you thinking the Phoenix game WON'T be tough. They took down OKC tonight in OKC short-handed and they always seem to get up to play the Spurs...no matter who the players on both teams are...

All the swingmen on the Toros are pretty streaky these days. The ones with any potential upside are at least a season away from being considered for anything NBA related. There are a few others around the league that could merit a call up if they get rid of Udoka.

If Quinn wasn't on the team, they could have considered Squeaky Johnson as another point guard who doesn't make many mistakes, but they're fine as it is.

...“You never wish anything bad to happen, especially to someone so important to our team as George,” Quinn said, “but it opens up an opportunity for me and a chance for me to help our team keep getting some wins.”

Popovich is confident in Quinn’s ability to get the team through Hill’s absence.

“If you’ve been in Miami for a few years, you’ve learned something,” he said. “You’ve got the toughness, and you’re disciplined enough, you know how to play, because they run a good program.

“So to have him there to run the show for us if we need it and make a shot is important. He did a real good job last night.”

Phoenix & Orlando just got done a big trade and it takes time for the new comers to get fully adapted, so I don't have too much concern for these two games. the game vs. denver will be a tough one but i'd still put my money on Spurs. Jefferson has been playing good defense these days so i'm confident he will do a good job handling melo
