In my view, a highway does not require you to go through tons of traffic lights. It is a highway before you get to 1604 but not after.
You guys that buy houses out there are nuts. I avoid that area like the plague...There are several nice homes available in my neighborhood in the $200,000 range and we are like 5 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes to downtown, 8 minutes to The Rim, Fiesta Texas, etc. 5 minutes to med center, etc. It takes 30 ing minutes just to go through 4 lights on 281.

Highway != freeway.
