I don't get the whole "she's lighter so her car is faster" thing.

If she's 100 lb. lighter her car is going to ride higher on the track and have more drag, seems like it'd be a wash to me.

Thats why you lower the ride height.


The arguement is legit, it doesnt matter during a RACE.

But during qualifying, when you have the cars trimmed out, and the disparity of weight is equal to 8 gallons of fuel.

Thats worth at least 1 mile an hour.
