I would like to have cobbler's opinion on this. It's a long history of bricking cobbler and I know you'll have a hard time accepting it.![]()
mid did all he could, but I'm afraid having ezau on your team is like having a broken leg. You just can't get past it.

Like Michael Jordan's 5-19 game against the Sonics in Game 6 of the 1996 Finals?
Yup. Tarnished his legacy good.
Son, I have been a Laker fan for almost 50 years and have seen way more basketball than you could even dream of. Four games does not make a long history. Two of which, in your examples, we won!!! Four years of games doesn't. No one Laker makes our history. We have had some of the greats of the game play for the team before Kobe and there will be plenty after as well. Kobe just happens to be the current one leading us to les. That he doesn't do so at a shooting % deemed admirable by you idiots for a game or even a series over a 14 year (so far) career changes nothing. Kobe is a great in the game and will go down in history as such. That he's leading our team is a blessing and I am certainly enjoying the ride. So spout off all the stats you want and scream 6/24 till the cows come home because the glare from #16 shines on regardless!![]()
jordan shootin like in da finals and playin robin to scottie.
tbh imo, troll thread of the year candidate...
the 04 Pistons and the 08 Celtics may have a say about that...

I'm not a huge Kobe fan, but I'll take 6-24, at least he was trying.
It's all in our own respective perspective:::
Cobby see's #16.
EZ see's 6/24
I see's Kobe: 5, Duncan: 4
Each to his own.
Sure he had a really bad game when it counted, you have Kobe on that but the team as a whole managed to win the NBA le and 2peat which many teams have trouble doing, much less 3peat which the Lakers will try to do this year. You can't judge a player on one game alone, it's what he did that led up to that point, if the Lakers didn't have Kobe there they would be a 1st or 2nd round exit team with the talent they have on that roster. While he had a bad shooting performance just his mere presence what he brings to the table helped the Lakers win that game. Say what you will, they won it and 2peated.
+ these Spurs fellows can take solace in the closing of The Forum and also that bar thingy at the top of the page that says "spurstalk.com" in bold black.
There ya's go. That's the ticket.
brutal shooting performance by Bean ........
What also stands out in that game was that even though Bryant shot like , he outrebounded the C's starting forwards by 2 (15 to Garnett's 3 and Pierce's 10).
6/24 and still get to do this

+ the Spurs guys have that out of the box thing that they took pride in where they were winning the le every other year, or, in odd years. They dug that like there was no tomorrow. All-in-all, sans---The Scola Fiasco---Spurs Fan has much to be proud of of. , until Pop poured over mug shots and found Neal in the rape section you were like tiffany.
Lol at the insecure spurs fans. The whole worlds already knows Kobe is better then Duncan..using the game where he won the Finals mvp after isn't a strong case....but I do admire your persistence, it reminds me of Sasha.
lmao @ thread. Jordan sucks and piggyback rides da best defensive team 2 a ring while kobe has offshooting night but still gets 18 IN BOARDS.
LMAO @classy spur fan.
The difference with post players is that a lot of misses become putbacks by the same guy, but still considered a miss.
I don't think too much about those stats. Last second shots affect those stats, and the guy you rely on most usually is tasked with that, including the full court heaves.
The G.O.A.T. Michael himself had only 6 rings. Russell had almost twice that. Still, we consider Michael the greatest. Outside of Michael, it's a group of HOFers and then some really good players. HOFers are HOFers, stats be damned.
Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant are two of the best players we will ever personally see play the game, and we are fortunate (some of us) to have gotten to see MJ play in person.
....Though MJ skippin' training camp and cuttin' in line to try and lift a ring ain't easily forgot.
Cheaters never prosper.
definitely true. But on the flip side, dude was clearly not in basketball shape and the summer after that meltdown against ORL, even while filming Space Jam, dude was on a mission and succeeded thrice more ........
Black Jesus
Wrong Cubby. Aside from 6/24, there's also 4/20, 7/22, 9/26,and 7/22. 10 years of chucking in the NBA finals, Cubby. Ten years....
tee, hee
Trolling aside, I like that answer![]()
So Dunca has chucked more shots in the Finals than Kobe?![]()
Lakerfan on Spurs forum talking about insecurity...
LEAVE KOBE ALONE![]()

lols, i'm always citing this badass game by kobe when people talk about his clutchness.
6-24 and his team won game 7 against boston. boston got completely hosed by the refs, which drove rasheed wallace to retire. what a glorious game to showcase how the NBA has become.
