Spurs people have been tight-lipped & bushy-tailed ever since Kobe overtook Duncan. They got their ass handed to them by the Suns for close order inspection, but, they were very complimentary & indifferent over it.
It galls them no end this Bryant triumphant business.

It in not locked up simply because LAL has 3 games against us, 4 fewer I believe road games and 5 or so fewer back to backs left and they will also at some time this year go on a serious run like all very good teams do. Granted the SOS favors the Spurs but the Spurs and Lakers seem to play sometimes as bad against mediocre teams as the true strong ones so there could be trap games on both sides. The Spurs have a definite strong edge but it is not locked up - I would like to see a 7 game lead in the loss column heading into the next meeting and win that game then say it is locked up barring a major run of injuries on the Spurs !
