jr smith is a borderline re like a lot of other moronic NBA players such as KG
KG is a punk, pussy, , asshole, you name it. But not a re . At least not on J.R. Smith's level, he's in a league of his own.

No contending team will take him, IMO. You simply can't play him in crunch time. He can make 3 stupid plays in a row at the worst time and lose you a game. Too much risk for the possible reward.

JaVale McGee and Andray Blatche are offended you've dismissed them so light-heartedly.

Kid's a great talent, shame for him to let it go to waste just cuz he won't grow up. And I actually thought he'd be something in this league.

I agree. No way i take that chance ...if I am chicago. that is why so many on here would suck at being a GM ...they just see talent and would treat this like fantasy b-ball or NBA2K11 ...A rookie coach is supposed to handle smith?

Only great fits maybe Celts or Lakers but dont think he wants to bac up Kobe or ray ...and Lakers only if Phil stayed. they have veteran leaders and strong minded coaches. I think SVG could work it out but he and Jrich could not co-exist IMHO ...

Knicks would be a good fit too ...they would give him a greenlight (not that he listens anyway)
i think kobe would kill him.

then rape his corpse. he's gotta stay in character.

Not so much anymore, Robinson has actually played pretty well as a reserve for the Celtics.

If JR is ever gonna realize his potential, it would have to be a team with strong leadership, ex. would be Boston, S.A., Miami, to name a few.

And yes, as stated, Nate is being just about as productive and useful currently as he ever will be. He couldn't be used in any better way on any other team than how he's utilized in Boston and how it's turning out. Him and Big Baby have been very solid role players, and both can come into the game and create some offense when the starters aren't in. The few I ever see of Nate has been positive in the last year or so.

You really cannot ask much more from Nate, he's 5'9", listed, meaning with basketball shoes on. He probably stands at 5'7"-5.7.5" without shoes. This guy was never gonna be a perennial all-star or anything in the greatest level of professional basketball, the NBA. Your game has to be amazing to enter the league at that height as it is, the only reason he's made it is because he has springs for legs and he's quick. With what he has, he's done a great job of putting it to use, and he couldn't realistically be playing significantly better.

JR is one of those players I love to hate, because he's squeezed the absolute minimum out of a boat load of basketball talent that he was given. He's living proof that God has a sense of humor: he put Kobe level talent into the same body as a Nate Robinson level brain.

+1. Fans like us would kill to have JR Smith's talent, and the idiot just waste his god given ability.
