Lose to the Lakers? Yeah........right. Only if Kobe doesn't play. If the Lakers are at full strength we beat them by 7-ish on their floor.

I predict it'll be exactly the same situation as 2003...dissapointing start but tremendous run afterwards.

    Tuesday, Feb 1st @ Portland L 97 - 100... Marks: 32
    Thursday, Feb 3rd @ LA Lakers W 102 - 95... Hill: 24
    Friday, Feb 4th @ Sacramento W 111 - 94... Neal: 21
    Tuesday, Feb 8th @ Detroit W 98 - 86... Ginobili: 21
    Wednesday, Feb 9th @ Toronto W 103 - 87... Parker: 25
    Friday, Feb 11th @ Philadelphia W 99 - 95... Duncan: 18
    Saturday, Feb 12th @ Washington W 116 - 92... Ginobili: 26
    Monday, Feb 14th @ New Jersey W 101 - 88... Ginobili: 23
    Thursday, Feb 17th @ Chicago W 97 - 95... Parker: 19
So if Kobe doesn't play Spurs lose? but if the Lakers are at full strength Spurs win?

    Friday, Feb 4th @ Sacramento W
    Tuesday, Feb 8th @ Detroit W
    Wednesday, Feb 9th @ Toronto W
Friday, Feb 11th @ Philadelphia L (this won't be a fun game to watch, and I think there's a better chance they lose it than the Lakers game)
    Saturday, Feb 12th @ Washington W
    Monday, Feb 14th @ New Jersey W
    Thursday, Feb 17th @ Chicago W

7-2, and the bunker mentality starts to set in that will prepare us for the playoffs.

Amazing we went 8-1 during the inaugral trip.

The four games in 5 days scares the out of me though. I predict pain.

I figure we're due another loss to a poor team, and Toronto had us on the ropes for a half, so on the 2nd of a b2b on the road they might do us. Strangely, it could be Washington though given that they are on the tail end of the 4 in 5 days.

Jax will throw some wrinkles at Pop and the home crowd will win the Fakers a close one.

Chicago are a tough beat at home, and we'll be tired at the end of the trip.

We could potentially win the Toronto and Fakers games (I have a gut feeling we're a great matchup against the Fakers this year, but they were particularly bad in our first meeting so this one should tell us something) and go 8-1.

    Tuesday, Feb 1st @ Portland W
Thursday, Feb 3rd @ LA Lakers L (Lakers will be hot shooting with something to prove and Pop will rest his starters for the second half, since it's a B2B)
    Friday, Feb 4th @ Sacramento W
    Tuesday, Feb 8th @ Detroit W
    Wednesday, Feb 9th @ Toronto L (B2B)
    Friday, Feb 11th @ Philadelphia W
    Saturday, Feb 12th @ Washington W (I figure they'll win at least one B2B)
    Monday, Feb 14th @ New Jersey W
    Thursday, Feb 17th @ Chicago W

    7-2

    8-1

If we beat the Lakers, we lose to Sacramento on the B2B.
If we lose to the Lakers, we clobber Sacramento.

The only loss I'm almost certain of is the Lakers... they are going to be out for blood and trying to gain ground.

7-2...NBA just wants to with us by giving us three back-to-backs. Stupid idiots.
The Spurs so far have played the least number of B2B's this year in the NBA

    But yeah, 7-2

Not to get conspiratorial, but has anyone checked the schedules of the rest of the NBA? Are the Spurs playing a lot more b2bs than other teams, or is that just me?

Tuesday, Feb 1st @ Portland W no push over
Thursday, Feb 3rd @ LA Lakers L If win this one, Could easily see them sweeping the trip. confidence would be soaring.
Friday, Feb 4th @ Sacramento W Back to back games always worrysome for Spurs, but its the kings, and should roll them.
Tuesday, Feb 8th @ Detroit WSad how bad they have gotton.
Wednesday, Feb 9th @ Toronto W RED ALERT,,back to back. Could easily not keeo their head and lose here. Canada to boot.
Friday, Feb 11th @ Philadelphia W Seem to play Spurs better, but come on, were talking about phili.
Saturday, Feb 12th @ Washington W Yet another back to back. They lucky all the back to backs are weak teams. Still could be dangerous.
Monday, Feb 14th @ New Jersey W wheres the love?
Thursday, Feb 17th @ Chicago L riding a high confidence after 8 wins veruss weak teams, I can see a let down versus Bulls at end of trips.
