This trip is a team building trip, and nothing builds team chemistry like a tough grind it out win against the defending champs after being beaten by Portland, especially when the bench does it for you (Ok Dice isn't a typical bench player, but still).
That's why Pop was happy.
Plus he knew Giuseppe had his bags packed.
I love how ironic it is... The lakers are supposed to be the longer athletic team and they gave up the game on an offensive rebound. They had been getting O rebounds all game and they couldn't come up with a defensive rebound at the end. We just won't die. There are a lot of things we could have done better but I'm glad we were the one's who made the plays at the end.
