Cool pics.
yeah im sure
Cool pics.
Could they be any smaller? It's just ruining my borders.![]()
must ... resist ...
looks like about 5"-6" with about another hour left of snowfall. pretty fluffy snow coming down.
tell her to step up her game or sumthin'
Viva is correct. Kori, that is some amateur ass snow. Looks like a few flurries fell.
and I'm sure the snow here is considered amateur to other people. I can't imagine going through all the crap the people out east put up with. They're expecting sleet in NYC tomorrow. Ugh
There's a reason why I live here ... so I don't have to put up with months of that crap. that. We enjoyed the little bit we got, less than 24 hours it's all over, and tomorrow it's back to football and grilling out back weather.
Y'all snow professionals can go back and enjoy your blizzards.![]()
Congrats on successfully sucking up to Randy Beamer.![]()
Pardon me, smart boy.
I guess I need to check out the tutorials.![]()
Adorable, Kori!
I see she has her cel, just in case!!!![]()
I couldn't get her to put it down -- maybe she thought a blizzard was arriving any second.![]()
I'll take 3-4 months of snow and cold weather over 9 months of sweltering, God forsaken, inescapable, spirit crushing heat and humidity.![]()
San Antonio doesn't have 9 months of all that. Maybe 2-3 months...and that's what swimming pools and air conditioning were made for.

It's usually only unbearable for about 1 month or so, even to a native Texan.
I hate cold weather ... so it's all relative. And I'd imagine not ever having to buy snow tires or chains, dig your car out of a drift or shovel your driveway at 5:00am just so you can go get on icy, treacherous roads just to get to work on time ... day after day ... wouldn't be much fun at all.
So, are we not supposed to have any fun with our freak, hasn't-happened-in-25-years little bitty snow dusting just because all of the snow professionals see much worse on the regular?

It sure feels like 9 months. After 20 years of living in SA, I finally got to enjoy real weather, like having an actual spring and fall. When I left for SA last year back in September/October, it was in the 60s and 70s up north, GORGEOUS weather. When I get back into town? It was in the 90s...just terrible. I'd rather have open windows letting in cool air than air conditioning.![]()
I had to run outside real quick while there was still snow in the shadows of my backyard to craft my little 8" snowman!
Just a damn shame that the temperatures will be back in the sweltering 60's by tomorrow afternoon.![]()
I hate when there's not snow on the ground in SLC. Shoveling is meditative and the city is just ugly when it's bitter cold and gray and salt crusted and lifeless. As long as it's winter here, in other words, I'd assume it be white and proto-typical. Snow makes all the other worth it.
And there's no snow here now. In the city. Which sucks, because I shouldn't be jealous of Texans' ability to make snowmen.
That's how you get on the news!
