Bowen doesn't really have the body of a small forward, and he doesn't really play as one in the Spurs' scheme. The Spurs basically have a point, two wings, and two posts, rather than the traditional five distinct positions.
That's why you put a guard on Wade not a small forward. Bowen might have his struggles on Wade also.

I heard Parker guards the pick n roll better than Bowen so I don't know who would guard Wade best. All I know is shooting guards having been guarding Wade and he has taken advantage of his speed against them.
If the Heat get to the finals... I would have Bowen on Wade for game 1 then maybe switch at the half if it was not working.
