LMAO at needing a 'passionate plea' to beat someone playing a bunch of scrubs that hadn't played more than a few minutes per game all year.

LMAO @sheep er having to post all these threads now because when the playoffs come, he'll be in hiding like he always is whenever the Trailgaysers lose (and they always do).
"We won," said Andre Miller, who led Portland with 26 points. "That's all that matters."

Spurs missed every wide open shot and free-throw down the stretch to beat themselves. Hill scored at will throughout the game. Batum's self congratulating speech is weak in light of George's lay-up clinic. We missed 10 ft's and 9 3's, in the final quarter alone. That's what beat us, not the defense. Make 1 three and five more free-throws and we win....

Batum's free throw defense is often overlooked.

Hill was torching the Blazers with a variety of slashing drives and pull-up jumpers, and after watching the lightning-quick point guard blow by Rudy Fernandez and create an easy scoring chance for the Spurs early in the fourth quarter, Batum had seen enough.

So he turned to McMillan during a stoppage in play and begged for the defensive assignment.
lol Batum with a big you to Rudy Fernandez

I was thinking the same thing, and apparently so was Batum. His free-throw d was so amazing, as was his "teammate under the bus" d on George, who almost had another career night in scoring. It will be fun watching these guys get murdered in the playoffs.
