Ha, I don't make avatars, I like to work on 3-D modeling and wallpapers and stuff.

What kind of modeling software do you use? Lightwave? Bryce?

I'm actually pretty good at pushing buttons (I have trained a lot of people to use broadcast graphic systems/software) but I'm rubish at actually drawing/modelling stuff. So this kind of drawings (that computers can't create) always blows me away.

I'd love to learn broadcast graphics! I'm thinking of picking up AfterEffects this summer and trying my hand at it. Have you ever used Maya?
No, not a big Maya fan (never got the opportunity to sell it). I use or have used After Effects, Studio Max 3D, Photoshop, Corel Draw, Illustrator, Premiere, Pinnacle Edit, Avid Media Composer, Velocity, Combustion... At one point in my life I actually worked on Quantel's Henry V8 and PaintBox (the deadliest editing/graphics combo I have ever used). I don't do as much production work as I used to, but I'm still really looking forward to getting trained on Quantel's eQ (Eiger release) later this year
