Bear in mind that the officials are trying to keep the game going and any big delay will throw off the flow of the game and so they probably only look at 2 views and angles.
I'm sure they didn't see the one replay we saw on TV.
This wasn't a play that would have change the entire game anyway so its a moot point trying to argue about it.

I say it's 50/50 that the shot staying a 3 pointer changes the outcome of the game. It was called a 2 so it definitely changed the game in some way just as the game would have changed if it had been called a 3 pointer. We have no idea what kind of chain of events would have happened if it had been correctly called a 3 pointer. Butterfly Effect.
