The show is ing funny. If youve never laughed watching family matters, what DO you laugh at? Seventh Heaven? If you want the best, go listen to the ing backstreet boys and watch One Tree Hill.

The show was/is ing hilarious. That doesnt mean its annoying, lame, etc

I watch it and it makes me laugh, therefore its funny, and it makes me laugh more than 99.99% of the out now, so i still consider it one of the best shows of all time

yeah, that is one thing i did mention originally

shows that go on for a long long time with youngsters are funny when the characters change alot physically

Like how you mentioned Laura...(except she had that STUPID short short scalp haircut the last 2 seasons, UGH)

And how i mentioned Eddie grew to be 6'4 and swoll like tyson

Also, Steve got to be like 6'3" and his natural voice got so deep that the urkel voice sounded like so forced (much like screech at the end of SBTB)

Little richie became a little thug

And Judy just dissapeared!

Harriet was actually replaced with another actor in the last season

Karl and Mother Winslow were the only characters that didnt change

Urkel was never supposed to be a character in the show. The first time he was on he was Laura's blind date, and the reaction to him was so great they kept him on.

That last season sucked, Damn CBS, they should have never put Urkel and Laura together, and replacing the mom was stupid. Gramdma owned though.

He was wearing a brown shirt and jeans and eating sushi with this chick

You arent going to believe me but i totally saw him, the hostess would not let me talk or make eye contact with him in any way because BlueFish is a high end resturant and she said it was "rude"


But i seriously saw him and the irony is amazing cuz i was like no way i was just Blogging about Steve Urkel not 5 minutes ago on not 1 but 2 threads!!!!!

you think i started this thread as another run-of-the-mill CBF joke thread, but i was serious, i love family matters like no other!!!

i dont remember the full house one, but i do remember the Step by Step episode....he crash landed into their house and was Al's date to her dance (she had no date until then) then they gathered 'round the dance floor and did the "Urkel Dance" and then Sasha Mitc slapped Suzanne Somers

Well in the Full House one ,Steve was on of DJ's friends cousin and he just barged in and had to help Stephanie with her dance so they cruzed on down to the high school*** and did the Urkel.




*** Does anybody else notice that the Highschool in Family Matters, Full House and Step by Step all look the same and in the theme song the singers all have the same voice!!!!!!!

The Urkel is pretty popular! The one with Larry Johnson was pretty funny. They needed a backup basketball player so Grandmama offered to play and started to dunk on everybody I was ROTFLMAO!!! If I remember correctly they had a lot of basketball episodes Urkel was like Kerr, Eddie was like Jordan and Waldo Geraldo Faldo was the intangible like Ginobili.

There were a few episodes that were actually funny. But for the most part, the characters were either way to predictable or the show just fell flat.

Oh and Full House is one of the worst shows in the history of TV. It's like sticking your head into a cotton candy machine while it's running.
