    And I would have cooked if I'd had a little bit more notice...but we didn't want to not do anything...


    And a special thanks goes out to DuffMcCartney for leaving a message on KORI'S cellphone that you were on your way to Kori's SURPRISE party and needed directions. Fortunately timvp happened to check Kori's messages before she did.

    Fun time, everybody. Kori wasn't really too surprised by the party, but her immediate question was "Who cleaned the kitchen?". I guess that was as good a surprise as anything. The suspect list consists of Mouse, at this point, as the grass was also cut.

    I did my part, too. Picture straightener that I am, I went through and tightened all of your kitchen drawer pulls and cupboard knobs.

    Yeah, I'll give Duff a break. I knew that people would be calling, so I had to get the cell phone.

    I'm just glad it's over. I don't envy Kori's job of setting up GTGs.

    I didn't even drink (at Kori's) ... but with only the 3 1/2 hours of sleep I got, this has been the longest ing day ever.

    Man, speak for yourself. I thought I was tired, but I got home and was up for like two hours. And I had about 4 of those big ass paint peeling drinks LJ made.

    I had a bad ass time though.

    The partygoers were Manny, Spurschick, Spurswoman, Useruser666, JohnnyBlaze, angel_luv, Ginofan, LauraBC, KEDA, Krista, RedKryptonite, Whitney, ShoogarBear, exstatic, timvp and me. (did I forget someone?)

    Oh and DuffMcCartney, MaxPower, McShine plus their extended family

    Everyone drank Jack and Coke, ate cake, popcorn and pizza rolls. We watched the replay of the Spurs game and also made fun of people (that's what we normally do).

    As for the surprise factor, I didn't know exactly what was going on but I knew there was something going on because everyone was calling my cell phone and my husband wasn't letting me answer it . But I was relatively surprised, though all the cars in front of my house was a tip off.

    I got wonderful gifts from several people, but the best gift was being with my husband and friends.

    I'm glad you had a wonderful time Kori! It sounds like it was a blast! Wish I could have made it out. I didn't have a way out there but I don't think I would have been able to stay awake either way. I got home after 1 and barely was able to keep my eyes open at work. Thank God for 11 energetic 1 year olds keeping me going lol Hopefully I can make it for one of the GTGs! Where are the pics??
