Rose needs to learn the meaning of the PG position, or he needs to be moved to SG.
And they played two crappy teams in the playoffs. Pacers and Hawks wouldn't have made the playoffs in the West.
Rose needs to learn the meaning of the PG position, or he needs to be moved to SG.
Except for the part where Lebron averaged above 30/40 ppg in 50+ FG% in the series they lost.
This is hilarious
The biggest complaint about the Bulls is their inability to score and you want him to what? Shoot less or something
Korver & Bogans bricked like 5 wide open 3's tonight
Noah and Sideshow Bob are almost the same player. Noah may be a little better..but not much. Boozer sucks. He's like having Kenyon Martin on your team...a bunch of empty stats but not a winner. Deng has basically played the Mo Williams role...great regular season then could not be counted on in the post season. Not saying that Williams is nearly as good as Deng...he's not...but they played similar parts on their teams in relation to regular and post season.
That was bad coaching. Rose looked fatigued late. He should have gotten a bit of a rest at the beginning of the 4th with a comfortable lead. Those 2 fouls late against Wade bit them big time and had he been rested, it's quite possible he goes face up instead of reaching in. That cost him 7 points right there and that's a primary reason they're now fishing.
He took 30 shots when he's not a good enough scorer. He either drives to the basket or takes deep jumpers. He's got nothing else in his arsenal.
Who was he going to pass the ball to?
Who was he going to pass to?
James is simply a more dominant player than rose...and James was also two/three years older than Rose and had already spent 5/6 seasons in the league.
I'm not comparing James to Rose here anyway. It's more about the situation involving each team.
KT the best chicago big
He doesn't have to pass. He just needs to make his shots. If he can't make it consistently, then he needs to pass it.
Really, the coaching is to blame as well for letting Rose do whatever he wanted.
HEY NOW, I've had my issues with K-Mart, but I don't think he deserves THAT kind of an insult.
It's something I started worrying about towards the end of the 3rd and it's almost as if Thibs somehow forgot dude is human and needs to re-up. He did the most running on the floor with AND without the ball and no matter WHO you are (unless you're on roids of some sort) it's going to catch up to you.
No. Not him.
Bulls were overrated as a team.
I admit I overrated him, claiming him to be the best player in the league before the series started even though I was just saying it to be dramatic as I've said I couldn't tell who the best player in the league is as of right now. Alot of people are going to bash him for a little bit cause he didn't have a strong series but he is a 22 yr old who is playing by himself against a 3-headed monster. It is unfair to compare him to Lebron or Dwayne Wade (even though Lebron is better and Wade is arguably better) just because they are both superstars playing next to eachother and there is so much less pressure on them than their is for Rose. Not to mention both of those guys are playing with Chris Bosh who actually had a really good series.
Point is when you have all the pressure to do EVERYTHING offensively by yourself, your overall efficiency is going to take a huge hit. Part of it is Miami's amazing defense but alot had to do with the Bulls just having no other offensive threats. They don't have any 3 point threat (Korver is negated because it's hard to get him open without an inside presence), Boozer was a no-show, and most of the time the Bulls are playing with 3 defensive specialists so they can't really do anything offensively.
Like I said, alot of people are going to overreact to Rose's efficiency this series... and it'll really separate smart basketball fans from your average fan by the reasons they give for that.
+1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
You're an idiot. Rose was given the green-light by the coach because they don't have any other offensive threats on the team. No one else can create their own shot, Boozer was supposed to be the 2nd-option for this team but he doesnt even play in the 4th quarter because he was useless on both ends of the court.
The Heat collapsed on him, which is why he didnt shoot well
Why rose didn't get a rest in the 3rd is beyond me. Dude was tired
Disappointing way to end the season but nah...Rose isn't overrated. He just got wore down in the end...too much heaped on that kid's shoulders. He's a 22 year old kid with a great work ethic. Minus Boozer the future is bright for this team. Once the Bulls get a legit 2nd option who can fill in that scoring role when needed they'll be there in the end.
A Kobe fan downplaying efficiency?..never would have guessed it..
A one-man offense against a great defensive team, guarded by probably the best perimeter defender in the game.
What a shock he struggled.
And what the does that have to do with Rose needing to learn the PG position? If you want Rose to be the primary scorer because he doesn't have enough offensive threats, then move him to SG. The Bulls offensive flow/tempo with Rose running the point is atrocious. Yes the kid is physically gifted, and the best player on the team by far, but that has nothing to do with my statement.
Kobe and Rose's situations are 2 completely different things. They have two different styles and Kobe has a better offensive supporting cast.
