LeBron had a pedestrian game by his standards, but it seems like that's the kind of player Wade has become. Be average the first 3 quarters and turn into jesus in the 4th, and there's not really anything Dallas can do about that.
Bottom line, if we don't rebound better, and if our guys don't knock down the shots they were making against LA and OKC, then we're going to lose. I have a bad feeling about last night: Miami didn't play all that great but they pulled away comfortably in the final five minutes. Wade and Bron were so-so by their standards.
I would say Game Two is the series. Miami is not losing three straight in Dallas, they are just too good to beat three straight times no matter where you play. If we fall behind 0-2, then at best we go back to Miami down 3-2. Our only chance is coming back to Miami up 3-2 with two chances to get the fourth win.

Chalmers impacted.
Problem is:::so MUST Miami.
& Riley knows it.
Scary thing is that it almost seemed like LeBron wasn't even trying.
He really did look like Magic out there by setting up his teammates with seemingly little effort.
Nah, Miami will get one in Dallas. The Heat only have to get the series back to the 2-3-2 portion. Doesn't matter if they're up or down 3-2 at that point.
same thing LA did last year
Stretch. That is a massive homer take. Did you not watch the game? I agree that Dallas got some good looks, which is why they hit 9 3's at a 40% clip which is very good. That won't get better. Dallas didn't defend Mia any better at all. Both teams defended well problem is MIA actually has guys that get into the lane (which MIA did more easily) and finish. Mia defended well and on the ones where they closed out the 3pt shooters and forced DAL to put the ball on the floor, DAL struggled.
Also, DAL won't win a game this series where they get out rebounded IMO. If your saying Dallas will lose that area bc of their scheme, they're done.
Only if they arrive there at 2-0.
If they get there at 1-1, Dallas will have exerted their force, their way, and it'll be extremely difficult for another game to be played in Miami.
Miami will win one in Dallas...
Haywood is mediocre at best. But he sure has a mean dunk![]()
Please, he can't even hit 3's.
He's not fit for the gimmick offense of San Antonio, he's going to rot on the bench.
It'll be a different set for Miami going to Texas at 1-1. The doubts will commence to creep back in.
They'll be a precedent (Game 2) that Dallas can build on & Miami will have to account for. Miami will have to react, and that will be Carlisle's killing ground.
He probably could against SA if Damp can
Say what you want about the Mavs missing shots they are capable of making, but Bosh and Wade combined for 14-37 shooting. I just dont expect that to be the norm for this series.
Both teams can certainly play better. It was a classic Game One feeling each other out exercise.
Only over Bonner's dead body, lmao
