And things aren't looking that great Mavs fans-saw on twitter that Dirk has a torn tendon on one of his fingers on the left hand-non throwing hand.
It's one game but still....let's see how Mavs respond Thursday..........
Venti Quattro, I don't really care you're mocking me. That pic of Thirteen as your icon/avatar is breathtaking. House needs to hit that but I don't think Thirteen would let her. I don't think she has "daddy" issues.

I'm ing heartbroken. ing horrible Dallas's luck. Dirk with a torn tendon. life.
And that quote actually is pretty true about me. I"m stuck in a dead end job but no Xanax. Cough syrup is pretty good though
This loss is on Peja, Barea and Terry . 4 for 21. Peja and Barea missing one wide open look after another.
LOL Tyson the Defensive Genious he is! all this dude does is get loud ass dunks and occasional help block...LOLOLOLOLOL
& they were indeed wide open.
Unless someone like Terry, Barea, etc. steps up, Dirk is gonna to have monster games to even have a chance in this series.
Barea did seem pretty tentative, which is something we rarely see
imho it seemed like Barea was trying to avoid contact last night the same way 4>0 Rings avoids a treadmill
He still managed to put up 8 shots. The athleticism of the Heat is probably why he seemed tentative. He's trying to get his shot off.
So Dirk isn't shooting 60% from the field anymore and he's getting reamed. Typical bandwagon rhetoric.
Maybe Dirk will pull a Kobe and perform like a beast after getting hurt.......oh wait, finger injuries are fatal to Kobe.
Dirk could have played better but if Terry, JJ and Peja don't shoot a combined 3-21 we have a much better shot at this. Besides the semi-concerning torn tendon in Dirks finger, Im not that worried about what I saw in game 1.
Point is, our bench is supposed to be one of the things that set us apart from Miami and we're not gonna win with them playing like that.
Nowitzki did look a little passive at times. He missed a couple of shots he makes more often than not, he blew two layups in the first half and he should have rebounded better (I can remember him taking one contested board and giving up four or five).
That being said, he wasn't the only one giving up rebounds, and other people were missing shots much more open than the ones he had.
Terry and Peja will have to make some semi-contested threes in order for Dallas to have a shot (because Kidd can't do that), and Barea will have to be able to finish better in the paint than he did in Game 1.
The thing is, the Heat defense is head and shoulders above anything other teams are playing in these playoffs. As long as they have that, they will just have to hope for "normal" production out of their Big 3 to be in a position to win every game. Dallas will have to play pretty much flawless in order to have a shot, and I don't see them doing this four times out of seven.
By the way, I really enjoyed Game 1. Very good game by Miami for the most part, really decent defense and at times great ball movement by Dallas.

Um, all this about Mavs can play better which is true but Miami also played like . They will play better...
What did Axe do to get banned?
I liked him. He was a regular fellow.
It's says "banned." HTF is me asking about it funny to you?
Asshole.
To win finals it takes superstars who are great two way players. Until Dirk decides to defend and rebound like a big, Dallas will struggle vs MIA.
Don't take it personally tbh, I wasn't laughing at you.
Dirk needs to step up and defend Bosh. Dallas can't afford having TC sucked out of the paint by Bosh's midrange game and racking up fouls due to his quickness, he needs to be down there for rebounding/help defense.
Dirk wasn't superman last night & it's unfortunate that it's going to take a super human performance from him for the Mavs to win where areas Lebron can get by with a good performance with Dwayne Wade having his back.
