Hopefully a nice Filipino family benefitted from this.
Guns don't kill people. Slight pressure does.

Viva doesn't kill threads... oh wait, yes he does.
The Pitbull breed is known for this. Hopefully you will find out from 1st hand experience. The world would be a better place![]()
Woe is me
goddamn viva is unfunny
I hate to agree with hater here, but honestly, it does seem like a lot of the attacks are by pitbulls....
Now, it could be because those owners who go for pitbulls are what we call "hoodrats" in the first place - you know, people looking for a status symbol, etc. But it's hard to ignore that when you hear about a case like that, most people would think "Pitbull"....and be right.
Can't imagine my Labrador ever attacking anyone.
I'd marinade it in teriyaki sauce with steamed rice TBH
Well that's a big part of the problem, most of theses "pitbulls" are terriers or mastiffs with large heads that look, to people who don't know, like pitbulls.....the common theme in most if not all of thses cases : irresponsible owners
There's a reason why Pitbulls are banned in Colorado.
With 5 pitbulls, you have nothing but time elapsed before something tragic like this would happen. That's just ludicrous...sad to hear about the child though--this should be like that case in SF where the two dogs (not pits, I believe) mauled the lady and the couple that owned the pair of dogs got 2nd degree murder put on their collective heads.
There's a reason why no major insurance company will accept a homeowners policy for a person who owns a pitbull, especially multiple pitbulls. And the few that do charge ridiculous rates.
Though that's not the only breed that warrants increased or denial of insurance coverage though as I found out via my brother-in-law and his ownership of rottweilers...also even some companies require it for German Sheppards and dobermans as well...
lol dog experts.
The microscope is just closer on them. As I showed in the links I posted(which I found in less than a minute via Google) all dogs are capable of biting or even killing a child if put in the wrong environment. I've been around them my whole life and have never even had one growl at me. My pit was loose in my house when it was completely ran sacked. I opened my door to find my house torn to pieces and my dog walking up to me with his head down wagging his tail.
That's funny...I just bought a house and I had no trouble getting insurance and I don't pay much at all. The adjuster saw my pitbull and do ented it.
I have a great dane, a lovable and friendly dog, but I can't get H.O. insurance with some companies because they say its a "big breed".There's a reason why no major insurance company will accept a homeowners policy for a person who owns a pitbull, especially multiple pitbulls. And the few that do charge ridiculous rates.
I'm with bene on this one. I have a couple friends who own or have owned pitbulls (one has a 5 year old daughter). If you raise the dog from a pup and train him well, these incidents can usually be avoided. Puppies are like small children. If you beat their ass when they do something wrong, as well as reward them for certain good behaviors, then they will be loyal and obedient (accept when kids become teens). I also don't see the need for 5 pitbulls unless you're running a kennel or some . The owner's at fault for a slew of things here.
So what's the explanation of why pitbulls are banned in some states, banned/rejected by insurance companies or disliked by so many people if they are so good natured and gentle breed of dogs?
Im pretty sure the owner of the 5 pitbulls is a very good owner since he doesnt participate in illegal activities and probably have enough time for his dogs too since if you own 5 dogs, that means you really know how to properly take care of dogs.
Dont tell me its politics.
Just like teenagers.
Eh, the company I work for would be OK with it(unless it has a history of ever biting/attacking someone). No Pits/Dobes/Rotts though.
Maybe things have changed in the last couple years. Or, maybe they'll stick you at your renewal. Good for you if you found a company that won't charge you extra for that.
It's absolutely politics. Or rather, complete ignorance by politicians. Do you base all your ideas around the law? Why do you think marijuana is illegal? I guess according to you it's gotta be because it's this deadly substance that makes you lose your mind. Or, it could be that ignorant power hungry politicians love to grandstand and take up very easy causes just to build their popularity. Make an issue out of something that's never gonna be solved, negligent big dog owners raising them to become murders. I can't believe you'd think it's anything BUT politics
Politics? Dogs?
