ouch...a little premature, eh?
Then I'll give Wade's bag to The Compost Pile. His window has got like a Brazilian inch left.
I can't believe he's that old already. Doesn't seem like he's been around that long.
He's been as long as LeBron, this way I say Wade is not a typical 29yr old in the NBA..
You got me buddy. Yeah, maybe a little premature, but a guy's gotta go through that to become a man, right?
Yeah, not typical in that he must have been held back at least 3 years in school. Even re ed NBA players can cheat/bribe their way through grade school.
Clearly Wade will lose a step in the next two years at his age. Then Bron Bron will be SOL. The Heat are not going to get any better, so if they don't win it now, they are unlikely to win it next year and may not win any championships as assembled. The role players will get old very quickly, other than Chalmers, who has a limited ceiling and is one dimensional. The Heat have already maxed out their potential and have no additional upside as Bron is in his prime and Wade is in my opinion already past his prime.
He's got 4 more years at least to win a few rings.. He is playing as well as he ever has at 29..
Time really flies...
Time flies alright, especially if you're an NBA Superstar. Of course Dwyane will continue to be really great for the next 2-3 years, but he is not getting any better and will only decline, which is why I don't think the Heat are runaway candidates to win it every year for the next 5 years. It's really going to be tough for them, even if they win it this year. Teams like OKC and Memphis will give them fits with their athleticism, youth and arguably within a couple of years, both teams will have talent equal to Miami's current talent.
Dwyane Wade will age well because he has LeBron ing James on his team.
True, but age is still age. Look at the Lakers and my poor Spurs!
LA lost to Dallas not because of old age.
SA did not lose to Memphis because of old age.
37 % from 16-23 feet. I wouldn't say Wade's window is closing rapidly however, I think he has 2-3 of being a top 5 player in this league then he may slowly decline for a couple years till it becomes obvious.
So you have extra bags you aren't using?
The old adage is true: If your team wins, it's a seasoned veteran roster. If it loses, it's an old team.
This. ^^^^^
Dallas is older than LA.
Also true, but Dallas is "physically" much younger in age.
Wade doesn't need to be all out like he was for the past few years. If those 3 stay together, Spo will find minutes for others and find rotations that allow Wade to rest more. Also, Lebron can take the load off of him on any given night (in the regular season). He didn't have that luxury before, and no one really does on any other team.
Good point, but have you noticed that Lebrick looks older than 26? I wonder if it's like Yi, his age was hidden to give him an unfair advantage since middle school over smaller less developed players?
I thought about that, but why hide his age as a baby? Dude has birth records and was at that school for quite some time. Nah, he's just a ing manchild. He might look older, but he jumps out of the damn gym and runs like a gazelle. He's a beast, flat out.
oden looks like he is 50 for christ sakes
His knees are older than that.
