    Who cares Cuban just said he may not give the players rings. So Dirk would still have 0 rings.

    I gotta admit that I'm happy to see the Mavs win this year, and even happier to see the Heat lose.

    I'm happy for all the vets on Dallas - J.Kidd, Marion, Paja, etc. but a nice middle finger to the Mavs as a whole. This series is a painful example of how the Spurs are just not taking advantage of their post-season opportunities when they happen. Congrats Dallas! The Spurs need to get their together...

    I'm as diehard of a spurs fan as the next but there's no denying that dirk and j-kidd are humble superstars and they deserved one before they're done. Somehow cuban is being humble, for the moment, and i'm still glad to see lebron go down in flames.

    All that said, it's still 4-1, but congrats to the mavs this year, they've been a fun group to watch in these finals.

    Yea, congrats. I found myself starting to root for them throughout the series. I guess it's a Texas thing, or maybe a true hatred of the embodiment of baggery that are the Miami Heat. Whatever the case, it was cool seeing them win one. Now back to the regularly scheduled programming. Cuban and the Mavs.

    Incredible feeling to finally win one after all those years of losing in the 90s. So happy for Dirk. He and Tim are probably two of the easiest superstars to ever root for in this league. Very fun Finals and can't imagine a better way to win on Miami's home court after 2006.

    2001 --> Spurs beat Dallas
    2003 --> Spurs beat Dallas
    2006 --> Refs beat Spurs
    2009 --> Dallas beats Spurs
    2010 --> Spurs punk Dallas

    Count is 3-1-1 in my book.

    I don't really care about the Mavs organization, but I'm definitely happy about the following, in order:
    - Dirk getting his ring and Finals MVP, which feels right to me
    - Miami losing
    - Kidd finally getting his ring, which also feels right to me
    - Miami losing
    - The Dallas roleplayers stepping up, was nice to see
    - Miami losing
    - Mahinmi and Beaubois getting rings
    - Miami losing

    Honestly even if it had been Lakers-Heat I would have rooted AGAINST Miami, and the Lakers are really the team I dislike the most in the whole NBA.

    As rivals, I wasn't wanting the Mavs to Win, but watching the finals, their offense is (to me) far more enjoyable to watch as it's about man movement, ball movement and getting a good shot. Happy for Dirk aswell, he's taken alot of for not being clutch and stuff, but he was the best player on the court in every series he played in, and was huge late, so his rep is where it should be.

    Mavs kept their composure while the Heat didn't get the job done…Dirk showed a lot of heart… Everyone is tired of the Lakers Drama…The Spurs whining…The Celtics thuggish play… This was the best NBA finals I have seen in years…Congratulations to Dallas & Mavs fans around the world…
