Aside from the team championship and Dirk finally ringing which is obviously #1 for every Mavfan, Jason Terry having to be recognized as an NBA champion, the whole tatoo thing, and him being HUGE in the Finals is 2nd.
I think my favorite was Game 2 of the Laker series. I went to a watch party at the AAC. I still didn't think we were going to win that series. I figured the Lakers would get Game 2, then recapture HCA in either Game 3 or Game 4 en route to winning the series.
I'll never forget the way that they took control of that game down the stretch and owned the Lakers and the joy of the crowd, high-fiving strangers. When they went up 2-0 on LA I knew that it would be almost impossible to lose the series and the path to the Finals was clear. Game 4 when we destroyed them was really satisfying, but by that point it was all over but the shouting. Game 2 was when I learned that this team just might be really really special.
