Right, because Seattle without Rashard Lewis and Vladimir Radmonovic playing and Ray Allen on an injured ankle is a healthy team. And, Phoenix without Joe Johnson for the first few games is a healthy team.
Please. Injuries are part of the game. Luck is part of winning. And, for you to indict the Pistons of winning only against injured teams is hypocritical at best.
55-51 at the end of the third quarter IS CLOSE. Spurs and Manu Ginobili blew it wide open in the fourth quarter. No excuses, but the Pistons' tired legs from the Miami series showed up a lot late in the game, especially with the lack of help defense on Manu's penetration moves. Also, don't forget Robert Horry hit a last second three pointer to make the score even more lopsided.
No, the game wasn't close in the fourth quarter. But, to say it wasn't a close game at all would be untrue.
