Really two years? What position will Mr. Hill play?

I keep coming back to how classy it was of RC, on behalf of Pop and the entire Spurs organization, to make it clear to GH that he will "always be a Spur." As fans we can always debate the trades themselves, the wisdom behind them, the talents of the players being shipped and received......but one thing that is beyond debate is the class and dignity with which this front office treats these moves, and more specifically, the players involved. This comment by RC, to George Hill, per RC's interview on the Spurs website last night, epitomizes that. The trade itself aside, I was never more proud of the Spurs organization than I was when I heard RC say that last night about the one key message that they attempted to deliver to GH. Whether that message went over well with GH is beside the point, it was all about the spirit, intent, and dignity behind it. I loved it, and I'm proud of RC, I'm proud of the organization, and I'm proud to be a Spurs fan.
    RC is so classy...

    ...whoops.

The Spurs won a grand total of ONE playoff series with Hill on the roster.

They doubled that after trading for Leonard.

It worked out well for both teams. The Pacers got a starting PG and the Spurs got a starting SF.

Very proud of George Hill tonight, carrying the Pacers against the Lakers and hitting the game winner. It was a win-win trade for both teams. Hope he'd be back sometime again like Jax.

I have HILL on my fantasy team this year, needless to say as my third guard I am loving this dude! I wish he won a le here with us during our days, but unfortunately he came too too late and now is on a different team. Leonard is a beast and I love him here in SA, wish Hill was here too instead of our backup PG's but hey he is a starter now and thats why he is shining more! He would never start here with Parker.

That was probably the sloppiest game I have ever seen, sort like a really lazy pick up game. Nice to see George Hill get those baskets though. His ability to score at the rim looks really good. Not that it wasn't obvious before when he was here, but he looks to have improved in that regard.

LeBron, Wade & Anthony will surely get millions of votes for the 2013 All-Star, but I am not voting for them. They will be in the line-up anyway,
for the east guard I voted George Hill instead

There was a point where there were Parker trade rumors because Hill was playing so well, but I think everything worked out the best for everyone. We got Kawhi, and have plenty of backcourt depth with guys like Mills, CoJo, and De Colo pushing for time. Kawhi was a need since we needed to replace RJ bad. And the man we used to like to call "Indiana George" is back home and is thriving. All around good guy, and an all around good deal. Spurs fans like the Pacers too, not only because of Hill, but we like how Hibbert has SO much respect for Timmy

I am not sure. We still haven't got that big that was supposed to help Tim.

You can't get everything you need by trading your backup point guard

all in all we did well, since we still have a deep backcourt and did make improvements at another position

Yeah but if we had traded Parker we might have got that big.

We also wouldn't have Tony Parker who was MVP caliber last season and is picking it up know. Who would we have gotten for Parker? Not equal value

Adding a starter quality big and George Hill while subtracting Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard does not make the Spurs a better team.
