Well, I'm sure all the Spurs fans have known this but I'm glad you googled. By the way, it's not the owners union. Peter chairs the labor relations committee for the NBA Board of Governors.

Lock the players out for 3 years and they will be coming back for less than half of the offer. Lets see how much these players can make getting real jobs like the rest of us.
More like dodging coins on courts with trapezoid lanes.
I think players and owners need to share the revenue equally or as close to equal as possible.
And if that can't be done, and 22 teams are losing money, the commissioner should call for a reduction of teams. They league is too watered down and the product is suffering quite a bit because of that. The players shouldn't have to accept much less than 50 percent if the owners made a bad investment. And there are about 5-6 bad investments which are hurting the entire league.
Most of them would go overseas to play or play in the NFL. 95% of NBA athletes are superior to NFL athletes.
Yeah but the Union will never agree to contraction. That's a loss of 15 jobs per team contracted.
The NBA is losing money. Salaries and contract lengths are coming down. They have to. It's just a question of how much.
Maybe the players should be put on a profit-sharing plan instead of a revenue-sharing plan.
THE OWNERS HIRE The gms and owners signed off on the craZY DEALS LAST YEAR
THE MONEY NEEDS TO GO DOWN BUT THE OWNERS CAN SAY NO RIGHT?
I mean Cuban told NASH you and your high salary demands... and what does steve nash have no NO RINGS

Or classier? Let's admit it.
I don't know why, but this made me laugh really, really hard.
Yeah, RocketfanYAO can't help himself. Once they descend and he goes through the maturation process, he'll embarrass himself less. They're so awkward at that age.
the only thing that this proves is that Ducks is still a ing re .
Who gives a , half of the nba was losing their ass including the spurs...
the spurs can't sell out a ing playoff game....nobody gives a about the nba anymore...
it's obvious...spurs ing play bonner 20 minutes...nobody wants to see that ....
and pop is ing boring, unmarketable and a bag....
Back to the original question, as somebody said in the NBA Forum, if they owners want a hard cap, then the players should come back and say there should be a hard cap on ticket prices and concessions, too.
