Whats funny about that is that your rush defense was actually better than it is now. That's ing hilarious. The clots are going to open wide for every 2 bit piece of RB in the league. Enjoy that trophy once peyton retires the chances of you ever winning another one will be slim and none. I'll be there to on you about it too. The Jaguars on the other hand are ascending.

The mere fact that we were competing for the Division last year with one of the worst defenses in the league should tell you something. The Jaguars plugged some holes on that defense and we should be even more compe ive. Thats fine I know your sitting high and laughing at what im saying but if your a true fan and follow your own AFC South division than you should know whats up. I think your in denial. Tbh the Jags had a good off season but I still don't get why they decided to draft Gabbert after the year Garrard had.
Garrard had a decent year. It was a career year for him. But the Jaguars had not invested in the QB position since drafting Byron Leftwich. They saw a top prospect in Gabbert and pulled the trigger. The Jaguars didn't want to get caught without a QB for the future. Besides Garrard is very inconsistent. He needs everything to be perfect for him to perform well.
He does not anticipate receivers routes. They have to be plain wide open for him to trust it and pass. He has to have perfect pass protection or he will hurry and scramble or check down to the RB. His nickname is captain checkdown for a reason. He will checkdown in 11x11 drills in training camp drills where there is no threat of getting hit. He's also not very sharp and doesn't progress through his 2nd and 3rd reads and will stare down his primary target. Having said all that, he will sometimes do just enough to get by and help the Jaguars win.
It is true that every year our ceiling was to compete for a WC. I'll give the guy that. But I have a feeling that the Jaguars are on the rise. How much will remain to be seen. At the same time I believe the Clots to be coming down. Peyton is still the heart and soul of the clots. But he is getting hit too late in his career. His protection is not what it used to be. And while he still has a very talented receiving core, injuries have hurt their offense immensely. Don't even get started on the defense. Honestly Peyton manning is the clots defense. the longer peyton is on the field the better their defense is.

I know fapps is a poster here but I have honestly never seen a post of his reference the clots. It would not faze me either because it's just known the clots are the colts. no big deal.
