It's also reminder of when the Spurs used to have size in the middle with Nazr Mohammed. I think the Spurs would have done better the past two season if they had a decent center. After watching his play with OKC against the Grizzlies I think he could have still helped the Spurs. Splitter gave the Spurs their first decent center they've had in a while. They used to have decent centers in the past like Nesterovic, Mohammed, Elson, and Oberto. A decent center would draw attention from Duncan, provide a target for passes and get a dunk/layup or get fouled.

I can admit I took those guys for granted... you really notice after a few seasons with Bonner and Blair at the C.

That being said, I also now realize Pop is wanting Matt to take on Horry's role... lol@Pop for that tbh.

Manu should grow the hair out long again and do a comb over.

Manu tore it up that year, he ripped Prince and the Pistons defense a new asshole in the Finals, the same defense that shut down Kobe in his prime and caused Kobe to shoot his team out of the Finals the previous year.
That´s right and never relised it.
    Thanks for recall me that.

And it was maybe the team where Kobe could share a lot of the load if he wanted, so to shoot your team out with so many options is a compliment of the type of defense they played.
