'Bout time for McGee to go HAM on some s...
tbh, 23-36 for 342 and 2 TDs and 1 INT is a good game..it just so happens that ing INT happened when we needed it not to happen. Like I said in the Cowboys thread, I got over this game right away. We weren't supposed to win this game, and we played most of it with our 4th and 5th DB playing as 1 and 2, and we STILL had a shot. Romo won't up every week like this one. I'm not expecting much from this team... .500 would be a successful year imo.
Huh? After all that you're not expecting much?
Like you said we were without our top 3 corners and we were in control of the game until the blocked punt against an elite AFC team. I know we're not gonna get by the Packers/Saints but I think this team is definitely capable of making the playoffs from what I saw tonight. They played pretty well just made a couple boneheaded plays at the wrong time
tbh idk why he tried to scramble for the td on that fumble. all he had to do was throw that away and settle for a FG forcing it to be a 2 possession game
I'm done expecting wins here. Sure, I think we can get to the playoffs..but I'm not going to expect it. Scandrick is out for several games..Jenkins keeps going down..Newman is a ing piece of glass. If we get to the playoffs, awesome. Just like I have for my entire life, I will cheer for this team every week...but I've seen 1-15 years, and I've seen Superbowls..I know when to expect playoffs and when not to.
Exactly...only thing I can think of is he thought he had the opening. Stupid move, but we call him a hero if he gets in. Hindsight...
this grinning got. He ruins my year, every year, and he goes home to a fine woman on a pile of money.
why do nigs call you a homer then?
you got a great troll following you though tbh, wonder who it is
true that.
Of course these guys could just repeat what they did last year and get off to a terrible start. I wouldn't be surprised at all if that happened. But they do have potential to be a pretty decent wild card calibre of team. Whether or not they actually do that or throw another season down the drain like last year is anyone's guess
Well tbh Romo went down and they obviously werent going to do with Kitna so maybe they didnt play as hard![]()
not sure why people call me a homer, tbh. Never have been...I'm a fan, yeah. But I know what not to expect from my teams. Not sure who the troll is, tbh.
Exactly... he chokes it every ing year and yet it seems like it doesn't matter to him...
When the is Jerry Jones going to say enough?
Who can the Boys get to replace him anyway?
I've always defended Romo but I can't do it anymore. I'll still cheer for him to do well and I know he's a good QB but I dont think he has the mental toughness to lead a team to a Super Bowl. It's always something with that MF'er
Trade Romo and bring in Donovan McNabb. I'm ready for a QB who at the very least doesn't try to hide how much he doesn't give a .
Romo had a good game up until Dez got hurt. Its like all the plays they ran in practice were designed for Dez. This was hurt and they kept forcing him the ball![]()
it all started on the play before the fumble. He almost throw a pick in the endzone. The camera shows him grinning and laughing about it. I turned and said crap he's in his " y mode." Sure enough he fumbles the next play and the rest is history. Cause once he screws up once he just goes downhill. I'm going to start calling him Falco and his quicksand.

You used to be an insane homer back in the day. Anyone who doesn't remember that is pretty new around here. People mocking you for it and the Cowboys lulzworthy efforts have caused you to tone your schtick down.
Some of his best homerism is in the Dallas Cowboys sucks chodes thread iirc.
