I don't know about htc shipping out new hardware out, I'm still waiting for my android market place to update. Still don't have the main update, where they changed the view big time and added movies I believe.

I know I didn't word it correctly, but I have the HTC EVO. When the gingerbread update was released HTC was quick to release it. Also with the other small 20 mb update a few weeks later than that. What I'm talking about is the android market. A new version 3.0+ has been out since july and I know the HTC EVO hasn't had a push update for it. My version is currently 2.3.4 with the outdated "look". The new version has a more zune look I heard and has the option to buy movies on it. Thats all I was trying to point out. I'd say HTC is good about getting their software out, but the whole updated market not being pushed out to us, sucks. Don't know why they haven't either.

If Sprint won't move up my upgrade I may just buy a used Nexus S 4g for around 150 and pray the Nexus Prime comes to Sprint.

Usually if you threaten to move carriers for a better deal they'll do it.

With Verizon I lost my phone and would have had to pay full price to get a new one, but I went in and said I'd take the $75 dollar cancellation penalty and move to Sprint because it'd be cheaper with the 2 year contract to get an EVO. They practically gave me a Droid X right there and then.

I was kinda bluffing though because I get a 25% Verizon discount through my employer and I pay relatively little per month.
