    I appreciate the clarification, and for the record I do not advocate or condone the use of that hateful word. However, what about " ," as that spelling often indicates a term of endearment among friends.
    they ain't the same word mayne, different origins different meanings and yeah its a decent appellation often used between homies

    Anyone who says they use the "n" word out of love simply doesn't understand their Roots and how derogatory the word is. Period.

    its a bad word no doubt but i think its fine for a black guy to call another black guy using the 5-letter word that starts with N but ends with "a". i see black guys greeting each other everyday using that word and no one feels offended so i guess its just fine to use, or is it just a dialect here in the DFW?

    Again, it is because these guys don't understand how using that word undermines all the work of those who have fought for equality and respect. It is wrong.
