I wasn't aware the two were mutually exclusive
Finley, Witten, and Gates are all up there. It's hard to say Gronk is flat out better than those guys, but he is certainly making a great case to be on the same level.
Jermichael Finley is almost unguardable in the redzone. His stats would've been higher on any other team, but the Packers have too many receiving threats. Gates is #2, but it doesn't show in the stats because Rivers has been underwhelming this year. I'd put Witten/Gronk at 3/4 with Vernon Davis rounding out the top 5.
lol Dallas Clark
if there's no Tom Brady, nobody knows who the Gronkowski is.
Gronk is damn good. Hard to say who the best TE in the league is though.
The league is stacked with good-to-great TE's...Graham, Keller, Olsen are also some good ones. When healthy i still like Gates as the best overall, but that hasnt been the case lately.
Surprising Graham doesn't get mentioned more. I know he hasnt been doing this a long time, but for this year he is on top.
The same can be said for Wes Welker, only moreso since Brady has been inflating the stats of slot receivers his entire career. He's never had a tight end put up numbers close to what Gronk is putting up.
Wasn't that Gronk that bent the goalpost yesterday? That was pretty funny.
No it wasnt him
Graham did it. He also blew Sean Payton's knee out![]()
suddenly tech fans act like experts on the Patriots.
Tell me, Tech fan, what makes Hernandez better than Gronkowski? His blocking skills? Being a better red zone target? Or is it because Hernandez is less of a threat to take passes away from det one guy whose salad you toss endlessly?
He moves better and is more athletic. Quit trying to troll got, you know I'm right.
lol tech fans vs pat fans being the highlight of the nfl forum this year
I am saying the same for Wes Welker.
If Wes was playing left of Henne, only me, Bill_Brasky, Rolando and Wes' mom would know he plays for the Dolphins.
For the Pats system, Gronk is better. From what I've seen, he's a more consistent blocker, and he's more reliable with the ball. Hernandez is a hybrid WR/TE.
imo, a bigger highlight is that both the colts and ole piss are aiming for historically bad seasons
lol colts
lol peyton
lol ole miss
lol snead
Not really a bigger highlight, tbh. lol nfl forum sucking this season
Tech fan saying Hernandez is a better tight end
I used to think Hernandez was a better receiver but that's not even true anymore. Gronk is a more dangerous pass catcher AND is a great blocker while Hernandez is a receiver who lines up at tight end and can't block for .
Rolando would still call him the 3rd best slot receiver in the NFL tho
I blame Greg Oden's moderation of said forum
It helps that Gronk is a 6'6 behemoth.
