Johnson will help but what's going to be really important is Tate and Foster catching the ball out of the backfield. They've both proven capable of losing linebackers and punishing DBs when they get into space. They'll be pretty good options if Leinart checks down to his safety valves and of course screens are a great way to counter the kind of pressure that coordinators are going to want to throw at a back up QB.
Leinart has no problem checking down. If I was a DC and wanted to beat him that would be the first receivers I'd defend tbh.
