although i dont think younghusband alone was enough to make bean3rs so protected tho, because he's only like 10% bean3r at best imho. i think they also adopted some kids which are like 10% bean3r, and the rest comes from the fact that 80% of spurstalk is fat bean3rs.

    10% + 10% + 80% = 100% PROTECTED STATUS MY N1GGAS

Umm because the dude has a high bball IQ and understands the game of basketball? He sure didn't come this far with his athleticism
I agree with that completely. It's just that there is a difference between knowing the game, and teaching the game. I just have my doubts as to how good of a teacher he is. But like I said, a perfect example is Ron Washington... doesn't seem like the most intelligent guy right off the bat, but the dude is a very solid manager.

I think comparing a baseball manager to a basketball coach is close to apples or oranges. While the manger has to certainly have a good understanding of the game, there isn't near the amount of game planning, play design, and defensive strategy as the NBA. IMO, being a solid baseball manager is probably much more about player management and team motivation than having a great baseball IQ. Basketball is at least half and half. Also, having a high basketball IQ on the court is not mutually inclusive with having the abilility to coach a team and design multiple defensive and offensive schemes. Also, almost all successful head coaches seem to be pretty intelligent guys.

From what I've seen of Kidd off the court, he'd be a terrible head coach.

Personally, I think Brent Barry would be a pretty good NBA coach.

I agree with you completely. I don't think Kidd would be a good coach at all.
