When is the last time you've seen the Wallaces undercut somebody or get a foot underneath them which injured Ray Allen and Vince Carter. Bowen is dirty.
That's a lie. Bowen did not injure Ray Ray. In fact, this year Ray claimed the same thing (after game 1), but forgot that people had gadgets such as TiVo to prove his outright attempt to make Bruce look like a villain. Conclusion: Ray's credibililty is shot.

Vince claimed this year to have had his season ended by Bruce when Vince was playing for Toronto. Truth: Vince played 20 games after missing only six games due to the injury... he simply tried to detract people from uncovering the real nature of his injury -- a lack of heart. Conclusion: Vince's credibility is shot.

Finley got on the bandwaggon simply because he figured that after going 1 for 9 in a half against Bruce that some calls would go his way if he cried to the ref that "Bruce was playing dirty" Don Nelson pulled out the phrase so that refs would blow their whistles. And everthing has snowballed since then.

Reggie Miller played RIP the exact same way... but Rip isn't going to rip a hero of the game.... NO. He instead decided to be un-original and hop onto the sissy bandwaggon driven by Carter and co-piloted by Ray for the sake of getting more calls.

If you ask me, Billups deserved a flagrant foul for that block of his Parker. You would think he would know that his elbow was in fact an extension of his arm. Parker clearly could have said... "Chauncey is dirty... didn't he bust up somebody's wrist this season?"

Again... look at the pattern of frustration here by opposing players.

BTW most of the points that the players assigned to Bruce score are obtained when somebody else is on them.

bruce is proving his point too.....

anyone know how many technical fouls our Bruce Bowen has in these finals?

surely a dirty player would have some techs by now....and surely an overrated

player like bruce couldn't hold down a dynamo like R.I.P. could he?

Pistons are being heavily complimented for being more physical with the Spurs, Pistons assistant Gar Heard and Big Ben are saying Spurs guards will have somebody waiting for them if they continue to drive while Chauncey is cold- ing Parker yet ---- Bowen is dirty for "putting his foot under Hamilton".

Bruces D is about forcing guys into taking bad shots and throwing off their rythm, To do this he uses constant contact and his hands are always moving. He may not have completely shut down everyone he has faced thus far in the playoffs but I guarantee their shooting %'s plummeted.

He isnt dirty. He isnt even cheap. He is physical and old school.

If you want to start brining up the 5 people who have complained about Bruce how about the 100 who havent. Next time you want to talk about how dirty a player, try using an example that doesnt include a player who admitted to sand bagging.

Seattle's Ray Allen (to ESPN.com): "He pulls you; he grabs you; he hits your elbow every time you shoot; when you go to the basket he pushes you, and then he falls. Stuff like that is not really basketball."

Former Dallas coach Don Nelson (to Dallas reporters): "He's a dirty player."
Yeah. Uh huh. Those are two really reliable sources. Nelly would do any damned thing, the dirtier the better. And Ray Allen? That whiny little ass? You can't be serious.

    What total nonsense.

You have just put yourself on my list of "disregards".

Oh, I'm not Kobe's agent...I'm just proving that another Elite 2 guard doesn't complain when Bruce puts the D down....Play your game and everything will work out.
Keep attacking Bowen and he'll eventually get into foul trouble, don't back down or look to refs to bail you out...it will take time, but he'll get called eventually.

Didn't you Detroit fans hear what Rip even said during an interview?

He didn't say Bruce is dirty, he simply said that Bruce uses all of his energy on defense. He knows that all Bruce does is shoot threes from the corners, and he plays with 100% effort on D.

That's it. It's just a matter of trying. He tries to deny Rip the ball, and Bruce is an all out defender, and he will bug the out of you even if you aren't near the ball.

I don't really see anything dirty about that...not even close.

    No doubt about it.

    Fortson does not play basketball.

As Coach Chaney would say it, he's nothing more than a goon.

He was obviously trying to kick the ball. Have you ever tried altering the direction of your foot in mid air?

Besides... It's ing Wally Szczerbiak. Bruce should be applauded for kicking him.

Nah, people kick passes all the time... So he tried to kick the shot. Would have been a great play.
