so TX taxpayers wasted $100Ks on this dumb asshole's security and expenses, while TX school budgets are cut by $Bs, and new tax expenditures given to UCT, United Corporations of Texas.
agreed man, can you believe he's returning back to the Lone Star State?

    He endorsed Gingrich.
So the "outsider" just endorsed the biggest "Washington Insider" in the field? What a joke.

I think that Turkey comment puts him ahead of W on the stupid scale. Palin might have both of them beat though given that she thinks Africa is a country, doesn't know who Paul Revere is, and thinks North Korea is an ally.

give texans their money back. they had no idea he was such a dumbass because he never appeared in debates. classic example of a good ole boy with a personal agenda.

lets perry stay in character, no sense endorsing Romney, since he'll probably get the nomination anyway

what's hilariously sad is a local station did a local reaction segment and some dumb said he had to dropout cause he didn't have enough money.

This was a huge choke job by Rick Perry. No excuse for him not to win this nomination. He had the hype, the money, the support of bible thumpers, and not nearly the baggage of Newt or the flawed conservatism of Romney. He should have won this nomination with a slam dunk.

He would have been a terrible president since he isn't smart enough to think for himself and would basically do whatever his advisers tell him what to do.

Idk how you can think someone who's as poor a debater as he is as well as being a huge idiot was some kind of favorite to win. He had the same "Anyone but Romney!" momentum charge that Newt, Bachmann, and Cain all had at one point then eventually lost.

The disgusting thing is that since he suspended his campaign instead of ending it, he can continue to fund raise. Right up to the convention, I would suppose.

He was the favorite because when he entered the race, he had a big jump in the polls and he was winning in some polls right off the bat.

He had alot of money, he was a governor of a big southern state, didn't have the flaws of Newt or perceived flaws of Romney among conservatives. He had a much better chance to win compared to Santorum, Cain, or Bachmann because of the money. He became a front-runner when he entered and lost because he was just flat out awful in the debates. If he was just average in the debates, he would be running neck to neck with Romney at this point. He just had to be average, not some dumbass. If GW Bush could easily win the GOP nomination, then so could have Perry.

Anyone who thought he had ANY chance was not from TX. Everyone here knew that the minute he opened his mouth, he was done. None of the rest of that mattered, other than to the media.

Rick Perry needs to get back to Texas and fix construction of Highway 75 in McKinney near Wilmeth Road. That causes traffic every day. They've been ing it up for 2 years and it's not even close to being done.

Tell Perry To Pay Back Texas Taxpayers

Please pay back the estimated $2.7 million in taxpayer dollars you spent to run for president. We encourage you to pay it back with any means possible and suggest either using the $2.5 million in your campaign account or reimbursing the state retirement funds you are collecting while you simultaneously serve as Governor.
