Thanks everyone for the input. I mostly agree. I think he's at least a very good role player, with potential for something more. But his moustache does suck, badly at that. I like how he came out of almost nowhere to make an impact, too. Those are always the best stories. If you had asked me (not a real knowledgeable Spurfan) if he would be taking JA's minutes before the season, I would not have believed you. But, he's earned it.

I haven't given up on his star yet, I still think it's rising. I like the Doug Christie comparison in this thread. I think Long Term this kid could develop into a guy that'll get you about 14 pts, 5 reb and 3 ast out of the SG spot.
He definitely needs to develop some consistency but I think it will grow alongside his role. He's got good hustle, he's smart and aggressive, plus he's got confidence to attack the basket or put up a big shot. When he first signed with the team I thought he could be that wing defender we were in search of, now, I think he could be a bit more (I've been pleasantly surprised with his play-making skills).
I think he could definitely carve out a niche for himself in our back-court and I hope he's able to do it and provide many productive years in San An!
In other words... Praise the kid, and keep Ballin'. Looking forward for his Sermon's becoming a weekly thing.
