Comon Lebron! Miami had an opportunity to blow this game wide open, but they relaxed.

Well, you know what I want to see from Lebron to see if he's taken the next step? He's had games like this where he comes out guns blazing and then fades in the second half as he plays to relaxed. I want to see him pour it on.
That is another thing we agree on, I know he is capable ..and maybe the Heat can win it even with him fading because of Wade. But if he or the Heat are to ever reach their FULL potential ...he has to be the man in the 1st as well as the 4th. Wade has more offensive skill but no one in NBA history (that i have seen) is more naturaly gifted than Lebron.

I've seen him be the man in the 4th plenty of times, I was referring to having more engagement the full game. To me, Lebron does one of two things. He comes out looking to get others involved and then gets his when he's assessed the game in the 2nd half OR he comes out like crazy, then takes a back seat in the 2nd half to get guys involved (or sometimes he just checks out completely).

It's not about being clutch IMO, it's about staying engaged for the full game.

Only a 2 point lead when it could have been double digits. No worries, Miami will come out strong in the 2nd quarter.

This will no longer be an issue after Miami wins the 2012 Championship. You will see Lebron engaged throughout the entire playoffs from start to finish.

I get what you are saying, but I dont think that it is bad most guys dont go all out for 4 quarters, and with a team as talented as this one he shouldn't have to. Plus who probably expends more energy on both end of the court? I'm not making excuses for the guy, but if he start off the game and the 2nd half to set the tone. and then closes out the 4th quarter that would be all they really need.

They do especially without Deng. But their defense is amazing. No deng and they still making the Heat work for it.

If Miami somehow turns Eddie Curry into a decent contributor (I am not holding my breath on that one), holy would that be even scarier.
