To defend Bonner a little, it's not like Novak was in the picture when the Knicks were on offense either.. They were both camping in that corner three on the Spurs end.

Hilarious. The Bonner hand raise is my favorite. I want to know how the camera never capture him until the end. He really was camping out.

This semi-reminds me of this gem: hockey ref magically appears. It's like the Zapruder film.

I'll never figure out that phantom ref

Wait, are we sure Bonner actually runs back on defense? How long had he been in that corner?
That's some of the funniest stuff I've seen all year.

Bonner the Cheerleader. Go Team! Yey!

Honestly though. Must have been playing man defense because Novak wasn't too far from him the whole time.

And Kawhi...dude has got some speed to go with those handles.

You guys simply underestimate Matty's speed. He was probably defending right off-camera and rocketed back to knock down that corner three. Because of his hustle, Novak wasn't able to come over and contest Leonard's shot.

Bonner's just spreading the fast break he's supposed to spread.

Lets put the speculation to rest. The fast break was triggered after Steve Novak missed a shot from outside and after Leonard corralled the rebound. Bonner just kept chasing Novak away quickly and ran to his spot beyond the three arc where there is the highest efficiency and set himself up. Except Leonard himself took it to the more efficient attempt of a layup pushing through the sieve that was NY's defense. Novak meanwhile did what he did best - look completely confused on defense and in the end being able to do nothing - not in a position to stop Bonner's three if Leonard passed the ball or in any position to halt Leonard's easy layup.

There ends the story. Go check Youtube, someone has uploaded the whole game.

    good find
seriously though he doesnt appear on screen once throughout the gif and when he finally does his feet are already set. looks like he was hiding on the Knicks bench and when Kawhi got up the floor he just hopped right up into the corner
