He took the boat to Nassau for the summer and we are planning on going back in a few weeks for marlin and yellow fin tuna.
The guy I was fishing with took a freaking great picture of one of mine blowing up right behind the transom of the boat but hasn't sent me a copy yet. We caught/released 6 that day and had another 10 rises.

Over the weekend, I took a trip to Lake Palestine with Mavsfans to fish for sandies. We drifted off a little island and caught over 30 in an hour. We casted where the shad were popping at the tip of the water and the sandies would slam the jigs right away. One of the Mavsfans pulled up this bass we figured to be atleast 6-7 lbs.
Then the trip was cut short when I tried getting a hook out of a sandies mouth and the other treble hook on the jig was lodged into my finger when a wave broke into the boat and the fish flopped simultaneously. We tried to tie a line around the treble and yank out the hook, but the barb was already set. So we had to dock the boat and venture to the ER to get it out.
No worries though, I was back on the lake an hour after getting out of the emergency room.
That's one thing I never want to have happen tbh
