He gets a flagrant 2 for that, while Nate Robinson's foul on Dragic gets him only a flagrant 1?
C'mon I watched that hit in slow mo and Griffin put his shoulder down first,he was gonna barrel over Smith for a dunk,Smith did the right thing IMHO.
Dude got SERVED and deserved it tbh...

u know he flopped real bad and lyin on the ground like a kent
Makes you proud? lol
Son you must know better then this.
Tbh thats a lot of "fight" coming from the last team in the western standings![]()
just a city of violent crminal s celebrating their own, nothing to see here
We'll trade Smith for Bonner... we need him to do a hit on Bynum's knee, tbh
I am not so much bothered by the hit.... Jason Smith could have really flattened Blake but he took a little off at the last second…What bothered me more is Blake milking it for all it is worth & Smith's post game apology…Why does the NBA make these players grovel like that…WAHHHHH I am so sorry, I am a better person than that…
What B.S. You were not about to get posterized by Griffin in your own house…Enough said move on…
tbh, I think this is blown out of proportion.. nothing but a hard foul, imo.Griffin not even getting up to confront Smith.
We just retired the jersey of the classiest guy in the league![]()

lol people calling for a suspension. What a bunch of made, softass gots.
Man's game
Son I'm not gonna lie, the Hornets front court would be my dream front court if I was an NBA coach.
You have the offensive threat in Kaman, and then two guys in Ayon/Smith who hustle and annoy the out of you on defense (my favorite kind of players). If they were to somehow add Varejao that would be my wet dream front court tbh
The Mailman was one of the worst flopper of all time.
thats a flagrant in american nba? really? you pussies... the mongrel even tried to flop right after, give me a break, hope he didn't break a nail, tbh
Jason Smith statement:
I deeply regret the incident that took place during the 4th quarter of our game vs. the Clippers on Thursday night.
Not only do I want to express my sincere apology to Blake Griffin and the Clippers organization, but also to all basketball fans that might have the impression from seeing the play that it's okay to go beyond playing aggressive and attempt to injure someone during the course of a game. It's never been a part of my makeup to intentionally hurt anyone on the court, nor ever will be, and I have the utmost respect for Blake and the game of basketball to ever abuse it in any fashion.
I also want to apologize to my teammates, butthurt internet db supporters who attempted to justify my cheapshot, coaches and Hornets fans for the consequences of my actions.
