The frequency of games on this stretch is ing brutal. Expect a lot more DND-OLD games...
There is no way we go 19-0. Who cares anyway? As we secure our seed the most important things will remain health and rest, not a silly win streak.
I predict 14-5

might as well play the lakers 3 times in 7 games![]()
what i concern is that are they able to catch up with thunder
Starting April 3, the Spurs will not have any two consecutive days without a game.
They say the Big Fundamental there does not sleep.
Plus that Jackson guy is %#*^ing crazy.
Three days off with no travel from there to the end of the season. Ouch.
Not for any of the starters. Especially if the Spurs can take 2 out of 3 from the Lakers and we have the 2nd seed locked up then Tim, Manu, Tony, Splitter and anyone with any type of injury won't see the floor. Pop will definitely learn from his stupid decision to play Manu in the last game last year.
ihopeihopeihopeihopeihope...
I'm thinking it'll be closer to 11-8. All the Spurs need to do is win another 7 games anyway to have a good shot of winning the division, then they're guaranteed a top 4 seed.
8 games in the last 11 days. Stern and the NBA.
Whoever the made up the schedule is an idiot. Spurs-Lakers 3 times in a span of 2 weeks....WTF?!?!
It's an interesting problem. You want to try to keep them healthy but the team hasn't been able to fully develop chemistry because of the injuries. You don't want to try developing chemistry during a playoff series or have lineups you haven't used before.
i think they should rest the starters @uta, @lal and the final 2 games. that should make their schedule easier, while still holding on to the 2nd seed.
the ending schedule is brutal - but we are blessed with depth to handle it.
13-6 and they're a lock for the 2nd seed. Would be very nice. A lot of winnable games, but too little rest.
Extremely packed schedule. It is going to do a lot to wear and tear of the team. Hopefully the loaded rotation will mean that there will a lot more rest days for the main players and hopefully the Spurs win enough early to rest before the playoffs without a worry about losing second place.
Don't worry. Pop has got it all covered up.
Spurs have a crazy schedule but they have too a lot of quality depth which will help them a lot.
It's time to start to look at seeding. Spurs will likely end up with the 2nd or 3rd seed even if they lose some games. They have 14L and teams with the less loses, aside of Thunder, Spurs and Lakers, are Memphis and Clippers with 21L. Spurs have clinched the tiebreaker over both so they have a full 7L margin over the 4th seed. Spurs finishing with the 2nd or 3rd seed will depend on the result of the 3 games they will have against Lakers. What should help Spurs is that 2 of these 3 games are at home.
we need rest more than ws, IMHO...13-6 is good for me
We traded him for Jax -- no amnesty for his sorry ass![]()
If i'm right, I think last night they ended their 6 game winning streak, but yeah they playing great right now.
Rest.
Stay (get) Healthy.
HCA is completely irrelevant. 1 seed is meaningless.
The schedule is set to destroy this team - IF they try to win too many games & concern themselves with seeding. It is great they have won so many to this point that playoff participation is not in doubt.
My prediction? Pop rests so many players so often that this place begins to melt down. The Spurs have to play THREE more nights (and two more of those are road games) than either LA or the Thunder over this stretch. That's huge (not counting the B2B2B they ALREADY finished.
We all know how that went last year...![]()
