Demarcus Cousins will command max money, I wouldn't pay him the MLE. He used up ~31 possessions to get his 25 points, and while he gets credit for being a monster rebounder, he sucks.

Cousins is a stud. I posted during the draft that the Kings got the steal of the draft picking him with the 6th pick. IMHO he will be the best big in the league over the next 5 years. Yes, he has a ty at ude, but he has huge talent and unlike Love he plays damn good defense. If you really think he sucks you are a very poor judge of BB talent.

When I say he sucks(maybe this is too harsh a word: Slightly below average NBA player is a better description), I'm not saying he lacks talent. He has the potential to be really, really good, and I liked him coming out of College a lot.

But, he's a big man who shoots 44%(With a true shooting % of just under 50%), and turns it over almost 3 times a game. He's a really good rebounder, which offsets a lot of his offensive offense, but he's just not good at the moment. He'll have big games occasionally, but looking at the whole season, his play is not that conducive to winning.

Cousins reminds me too much of Benoit Benjamin. Tons of talent but poor work ethic and ty at ude.

Most of you guys who are saying you don't like Cousins would be going nuts with excitement if he suddenly got traded to the Spurs.

I see it all the time here when a player is on another team he isn't any good when he suddenly puts on the spurs jersey he is an important player to the teams success and everyone forgets how bad they said he was. Fans tend to over rate their teams players.
