Hornets are mostly healthy now. Only Okafor is out. They haven't been at full strength all season. When Gordon was healthy, Ariza was out. When Ariza came back, Gordon was out and then injuries piled on after that. If they were close to full strength, they would have been battling it out for the 8th spot. Thankfully, they are tanking because they will get two good draft picks.

    hornets are a good team
the two lottery picks will put them in playoff contention with a full healthy roster next season
they also have cap space to sign some free agents
monty williams is also one of the better coaches in the league
people forgot they started last season 10-0 and were probably the best or at least top 3 defensive team in the league at that point

players seem to like coming back from injury to drop career bests vs the spurs
wouldnt expect anything less than 30 from eric gordon
jarret jack averaged 27 points on 60% shooting in two meetings vs us this season

I wouldn't hold my breath. The Hornets just dont have the fire power or the know how to play the Spurs tough. Even if they did, it wouldn't serve as a gauge meter since the Hornets suck so much and so people wouldn't put much stock in it.
Pop and the team would. , I would too. The Hornets are better than their record indicates, and they always play the Spurs tough. They have Eric Gordon back so they can score a bit easier, and Jack might be out who takes shots away from others. They play physical with the Spurs too. I doubt this game will be close, seeing as the Spurs are at home, but I'd like to see the team get played rough and react to it well.

One thing you gotta respect about the Lakers is they know how to grind out wins. They've been doing it a lot lately, and it'll help them a lot come playoff time (even if most of them came against bottom feeders).

If we have a decent first and are up double digits early, i don't see hornets really try and we should win this going away

Memphis and Indiana are doing pretty good so far with leads over Miami and OKC so far, this could be a great night for the Spurs seeding wise.

Why? So that everyone can when we let the 1st seed go to rest our key players?
