Doctor to Tiago: "Take two low dose aspirins and call me after the game..."
Yeah the COT won't like it either...
Doctor to Tiago: "Take two low dose aspirins and call me after the game..."
He will be fine, we dont need him as much in first round anyway
Maybe it would be better to give him a rest for couple of games, if Blair plays well tomorrow. It would be meanless to force him to play with injury, which could even worsen during game time. We will need him in next series more, imo.
Good news to hear. Hopefully, Splitter will be ready to go by Game 3 or Game 4. In the meantime, I'm sure Blair is chomping at the bit for playing time and can be counted upon to be his usual "bull-in-the-china-shop" self.
That's true.
The quicker the Spurs can dispatch Utah, the better off the team will be and the more rest they will get.

Tiago doubtful for Game 2; not around practice

Tiago Splitter was not present for the second straight day during the team’s media session Tuesday morning and is questionable for Wednesday’s Game 2 against Utah
This dude has never made a bad post.![]()
Fine. Let him sit out the rest of the first round then. No sense taking any chances. Besides, the Spurs are going to need him more for the next series, anyway.
I would agree with this. I'm reading that apparently bone bruises aren't quite the same thing as a regular bruise...No need to risk it but I'd still prefer it if Splitter played a game or two this series just to keep from being rusty.
Yes, the Spurs are favored, but the Jazz aren't some scrub team. A dominant performance by their bigs, resulting in a loss, would send this place into a panic. I think the Spurs got it without Tiago, but young teams like the Jazz are unpredictable and capable of gaining confidence and momentum out of no where.
Rascal got his arm ripped off by a bear while trying to field a grounder in his co-ed softball league. Not only did he finish the game, he also turned the double play by flinging his still-gloved arm to first base. After the game they went for pizza.
getting hurt in touch football
Blake being as much a pussy as Tiago
Goods were delivered.
I'm amazed he stayed in the game after hurting his wrist.
At least he's not Caron Butler
Didnt Bonner have a bone bruise last year that kept him our for like a month?
Soooo, when do they start the stem-cell harvesting process for Tiago?

As a US Vet who suffers from the occasional physical disability here and there, and who also comes from an injury-prone (is that a good enough term?) family, myself, but didn't find out until it was too late... it's so nice to read that there are so many Iron Men on here with balls of steel, LMAO.
Damn my mother's side of the family for causing me so much pain and agony that others would only scoff at, and simply label me a "pussy."
... But then again... I don't get paid millions of dollars to heal and deal with it during a PO game. So I guess I can somewhat understand where the ugly spectator-hate is coming from.
Bonner gets a pass because he's toughed it out and delivered in the playoffs before.
maybe it's your avatar and sig...
Originality. Gotta' love it.
Manny thinks playing tackle football with a helmet is for pussies.
Who could argue against that?
lol soccer
He's going to give it a try tomorrow morning in shoot around. He says it's feeling better.
