Rest. A good team may come into a series rusty and play a bad half of basketball. Come into a series tired and you're in deep if the series goes 6 or 7.
As for the Spurs specifically I'm not worried about their focus. In that respect I think the fourth quarter against the Jazz was the absolute best thing that could have happened. Spurs escaped without adding another game to their schedule and Pop's got a few minutes of tape he can lean on to remind them the price of not staying sharp for 48 minutes at a time.
