Actually this type of article is kinda crappy IMHO ... it's basically a "Spurs aren't as boring as you think they are!" argument rather than a "Spurs are fun to watch!" one.

Actually it just restates the truth: The Spurs are only boring to people who don't know about basketball. Unfortunately, those are the folks that the NBA wants to tune in, because there's a lot of them and they only turn on the games during the finals. It's much easier to get them to watch Kobe because he's a rapist and because the LA media talks about him.
