Perhaps. But bench guys who play 20-30 minutes a game aren't burning more than 500 calories per game (and that's GENEROUS), and perhaps at most only twice that much during practices.
These guys lift weights longer than most people walk in a given day. A personal pizza isn't going to do anything. Jack's resting metabolism probably burned that whole pizza off before the previews were over.

Not every NBA player lifts weights like Karl Malone. Sure they lift a fair amount, enough to require a surplus of calories, but not "longer than most people walk". Muscle mass isn't needed in the NBA. It's nice but it's not necessary and you can see it in some players. Not saying their resting metabolism is like that of a normal person's considering their height and training regimen. But a dirty diet 7 days a week would easily catch up to the average player.

But like I said, I'm sure pizza is a "cheat" for them (even though it has great macros, so maybe not).

True. His daughter was born the summer after the 2005 Finals and his son was born the summer after the 2007 Finals. If Amy's pregnant right now, then the Spurs are in luck.

Also, from what I remember, I think Manu was in Argentina at that time or in another country. So he couldn't come to the wedding, either.
