Spurs get called for ty fouls on one end, and get none on the other.

That's called bad officiating.

Okc had a lot of and ones, Spurs just few and, most impotrtant, Duncan had none...and that's unbelievable considering the kind of defense Perkins used to do anytime Tim was going to the basket.
I think this makes all the difference in the world...

And 1s do make a difference to the way the defender can play. If Tim keeps getting fouled, but scores anyway the Thunder play can just keep playing physical without worrying about a foul being called.

On the other end if the Spurs keep getting called for And 1s then they have to play with more caution on defense which makes it much harder to defend.

Ppl are harping on Malloy but at least he corrected that horrible call by a way out of position James Capers who had no business blowing his whistle that would have discounted that beautiful drive plus the And 1 by Jackson in the
1st quarter.
