Keep Tiago and teach him how to shoot a free throw. Just cut Bonner even if it breaks timvp's kids' hearts.

Try and trade him, otherwise Spurs must use the amnesty on him.

I don't care how much he helps us in the regular season if he is a complete liability in the playoffs. Spurs gotta take more loses in the regular season if it means the player has a chance to help us more in the playoffs.

The sooner we get rid of that sandwich eating son-of-a- , the better this team will be. As a matter of fact, why don't we trade him for a sandwich that we can then use to lure Diaw to re-sign with the team?

He's just one piece of the dead weight that has to go this off season.

I'm hoping Pop understands this now.

Yeah, if the Spurs were -bent on ridding the roster of vaginas, they have one left to get rid of. For the life of me, I don't understand why they tired of RJ before Bonner. In terms of lack of mental toughess - they're twins IMHO.

I seriously hope he's gone. He's been here for 6 seasons and hasn't peaked or been a significant piece to the team. He's just wasting space.

I've been hoping this for about four years now, but Bonner's departure is always the Xmas present that never comes. I wonder if his reduced role in the past 3 games is finally the sign we've all been looking for?

    You and me both, Senor

As far as Pop is concerned, that's especially why players like him (and Finley back then) need to go. If Pop has them, he'll give them another chance, and another chance, and another chance...

Worst player in Duncan era is gone: Jefferson

Now we need the 2nd worst to GTFO; I hope I never see Bonner in Spurs uniform again

I was just thinking: Stephen Jackson in one quarter eclipsed Matt Bonner's entire playoff career.
    This. Sad but true

SJax had a fantastic playoffs, really stepped up his game and yes, contributed more in one playoffs than Matty has done in several years.

Blair and Bonner bring a level of inep ude to the team that's debilitating. They both need to go. Tiago needs to go as well. He's been playing the game long enough to have learned to shoot the FT. He's a liability. We need a solid big and some good outside help.

Seriously, drop the homer love for these turds and let them walk.

Diaw was good in the regular season and some of the playoffs, but he's too ing soft and defers when he has wide open looks and is a good shooter. He's serviceable though but he's gotta shoot.

Gary Neal has earned the right to stick around. He's not a PG, Pop needs to not play him in that role. If anyone spreads the floor now, it's him.

When the Spurs re-upped Bonner I posted here that I wouldn't spend another dime on the Spurs while he was still on the team. And I've kept that promise. No tickets, no merch, not even bootleg.

As soon as he's off the team, I'm back in as a spending fan.

I apologize to ST (lol) for ever defending this piece of . Even though I never called him a playoff performer, I felt like there was no reason he couldn't be one and he just needed some time.

I was completely wrong. Matt Bonner was born without a ballsack.

So if the amnesty clause is used on Bonner, and James Anderson is gone from the spur roster, then we are looking at replacing those roster spots with Lorbek and Decolo.

Though I don't expect the Spurs to amnesty Bonner because of how much they are in love with him and I fear they are grooming him to be in the front office one day like Ferry, IF they did amnesty him, they wouldn't have to pay out much. Some team out there under the cap would bid 2 million a year for him and the Spurs wouldn't owe that much out of pocket.

Matt Bonner should start applying for jobs at places like Best Buy, I can totally see him working at a place like that.
